One of Baker’s recently completed signature local projects was honored with multiple awards. The CSX J&L Tunnel Modification Project at the South Side Works in Pittsburgh, designed by Baker, was selected for the Project of the Year Award by the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP) and received the Diamond Award for Engineering Excellence from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA), as well as being selected the March of Dimes Transportation Project of the Year Award. The project was also selected for PSPE Beaver Chapter’s Project of the Year Award. The Project Team will be giving a presentation on the project at an April 16th joint meeting with PSPE Pittsburgh Chapter and PSPE Beaver County Chapter.
