Open to anyone holding a valid license or certificate of registration as a professional engineer, Engineer-In-Training or Engineering Intern certification, issued under the laws of any state, territory, possession, or district of the United States, or the equivalent as defined under the laws of any other country. How much will a membership cost?
You qualify for a free membership if you are a student who is enrolled full-time in an ABET-accredited engineering program or an engineering or pre-engineering program that has a transfer agreement with an ABET accredited engineering program; or are a student enrolled full-time in a graduate level engineering program.
What's the cost?
If you're a new member, find out how much a membership will cost. Also, you may call NSPE Member Services at 888-285-6773 and a Member Services Representative will be happy to tell you how much a membership will cost. Students are free if you qualify for a membership as a student.

2015 Important Tax Information
NSPE dues may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Please see the attachment for the portion of your National and State membership dues that is not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense to the extent that NSPE and your state spend membership dues resources on lobbying. Donations to the NSPE Educational Foundation and State Society Scholarship Funds are fully recognized as tax deductible charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. NSPE membership dues (local, state, chapter) contributions, and PAC contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. Download the attachment.
