This year will be the first time in six years that our competition will not be at Robert Morris University. Due to a lot of conflicting circumstances, the competition this year will be held at the A.W. Beattie Career Center, in the North Hills, on Babcock Boulevard. The competition date will be Saturday, February 8, 2014.
Since we won’t have the advantage of utilization of the RMU students for graders, our need for volunteers will be greater than in past years. If you would like to volunteer in any capacity for this wonderful activity, contact Virginia Dailey ( or Tom Schwartzmier (

MathCounts is one of the Chapter's biggest community efforts. We're always looking for volunteers (Chapter members, college students, and anyone else who's interested) to help out the day of the event. Why not volunteer for the day, or at least a couple of hours? From serving coffee to grading exams, there's something for everyone. It's never been easier to volunteer! Send us an email and a volunteer coordinator will contact. Thanks!
